Delete your account
You can delete your hppy account at any time. This page explains how, and what happens to your data.
How to delete your account
- Open the hppy app on your smartphone (iOS or Android).
- Tap “Du” (You) at the bottom right — that is where your profile and settings live.
- Scroll all the way down and tap “Konto löschen” (Delete account).
- Confirm with “Endgültig löschen” (Delete permanently). Your account is then deleted irrevocably.
Alternatively: deletion by email
If you no longer have access to the app, you can request the deletion of your account by email:
Please include the phone number you registered with in your email. We process deletion requests within 7 working days.
What happens to your data?
When you delete your account, your profile is cleared: your personal details are deleted permanently, and your connections to others are removed.

What you shared with others is also part of their plans and conversations. It therefore stays visible to them — without your name: you appear there as “Gelöschter Nutzer” (Deleted user). If you want something gone, delete it yourself before deleting your account — messages and events in the app, party photos on the upload page — or write to us at privacy@hppy.events.
Retention periods
Deletion happens immediately when you confirm in the app. Automatic backups in Firebase may persist for up to 30 days after deletion, but are then permanently removed as well.
